Traveler
Slim, protective wood and resin cases made for everyday carry, with clicky metal buttons and MagSafe compatible magnets on supported models.
Shop TravelerLive Edge
A sculpted burl edge and resin face give each case a more organic one-of-one profile while keeping the same device-specific fit.
Shop Live EdgeEvery iPhone case is one of one
The back of every Traveler case is a slice of real wood under hand-poured resin, cut and finished in Carved's Elkhart, Indiana workshop, then mounted in a dual-layer protective case. Because the grain grew once and the pour set once, no design can be repeated. Each case is photographed individually, sold exactly once, and retired the moment it sells, so the photo you shop is a portrait of the exact case that ships to you.
Of the store's 33,774 reviews, 23,546 are for Traveler cases, and they keep landing on the same two facts: the material and the build. An iPhone 17 owner kept the entire review to one line: “Excellent build quality and uniqueness for the price.”
Prices currently run $39 to $69, and the spread follows your phone more than the artwork. Want the deeper reading before you choose? Start with the Traveler buyer's guide, or compare the two case styles in Traveler vs Live Edge.

iPhone case FAQ
Are Carved iPhone cases protective?
Yes. Our cases are built around a protective shell, then finished with real wood and resin. Current Traveler cases include raised edges, metal buttons, and MagSafe compatible magnets on supported devices.
Is every case really one of one?
Yes. We cut each piece from real wood burl and pour resin by hand, so the color, grain, and pattern vary from case to case.
What if I do not see my device?
Use the device picker at the top of this page, or on any phone-case collection page. If your model is not listed, the request link there is the fastest way to tell us what to make next.
Is the photo on the listing the actual case I get?
Yes. Every case is photographed individually after it is finished, so the listing is a portrait of the one physical case for sale, grain and pour included. A Galaxy S26 owner confirmed the obvious worry: “Looks exactly like the photo and is very functional and provides great protection for my phone.”
Why does one case cost $39 and another $69?
Mostly the phone, not the artwork. Older-iPhone and Pixel cases currently start around $39, Galaxy cases around $43, and the newest iPhone models top out at $69, with a few price steps between designs inside each model. Prices shift as sales come and go, but the handwork is the same at every price point.
Do the cases work with MagSafe and magnetic mounts?
Magnet support differs by phone model, and the reviews are blunt about it in both directions. An iPhone 17 owner reported “The MagSafe magnet works great to hold my ring grip”, while a Pixel 10 Pro buyer noted that “Carved does not put magnets in the Pixel 10 Pro cases”. If a magnetic mount is part of your day, read the listing for your exact model before you fall for a design.
