At the core of this monolith is darkened Buckeye Burl chunk. Down the center of the wood is what looks like a water stream flowing with gold surrounded by wisps of white and gray color. Polished to perfection!

Our Monolith is made from burl wood and resin. We stabilize the wood to help it resist humidity changes, then add resin, dyes and pigments. When the finished part has fully hardened, we cut it to size and polish it to an almost mirror finish.
These take us a long time to make (and a really long time to polish!) so we only make a couple at a time. The only way to get a Carved Monolith is to enter our giveaway contest.
