Our Solid Wood cases are cut from a single piece of stabilized wood burl, with just a touch of resin filling the natural voids. Our stabilization process hardens the wood to protect against cracks and breaks, so the grain you see is the whole case. No two pieces of burl are alike, which makes every case a one of one.

I've purchased a few Carved cases over the years. They are beautiful and a piece of art. However, I'm not currently using the case. Doesn't make sense? I have the iPhone Air. I didn't really think it through when I bought this case. It is as thick as a Pro series iPhone and maybe weighs about the same as the naked Air. All in all, it's a quality, gorgeous case, but it defeated the purpose of the Air's design. Specifically, this is a Live Edge case. So I'm torn. I'm currently still rocking the naked Air.
