Product Details
A protective wax that prevents rust and keeps your blade smooth between uses. Conditions the burl-wood handles while maintaining the steel. Made from beeswax and raw flaxseed oil, nothing else. 2 oz (56.7 g) in a screw-top aluminum tin, 100% made in the USA.
How to use
- Scoop a small amount with a finger or cloth. A little goes a long way.
- Rub a thin, even coat over the blade and handle.
- Let it sit a minute, then buff off the excess with a clean cloth.
What's inside
- Beeswax: the seal. It locks moisture out of the steel and gives the coat its staying power.
- Raw flaxseed oil: the conditioner. It carries the wax into the wood grain and keeps handles from drying out.

What does it smell like?
Not much. Blade Wax has a low scent, a faint whiff of beeswax at most, and it leaves nothing sticky on the blade or your hands.
Will it work on stainless steel?
Yes. Stainless resists rust better on its own, but the wax still cuts friction and conditions the handle. It earns its keep most on carbon steel, where rust protection matters.
How often should I apply it?
For a knife that gets regular use, a fresh thin coat every few weeks keeps it protected. Reapply sooner if the blade gets wet or works hard.
How long does a tin last?
A long time. A thin coat is all you need, so the 2 oz tin covers months of regular use across several knives.
