Turtle Inlay

I'm in love with turtle case. It's just really unique, but he the wood and shells are beautiful. I get compliments on it all the time and everyone wants to know where I got it. I want to buy one for everyone in my family.

Love the design... a LOT. It's a beautiful case...but...the inlay is pretty vulnerable to wear and tear. Pieces of the turtle started coming unglued and fell off a few months after I got it. It's an awesome sturdy case...love how well made it is...just miss my beautiful turtle design, and probably won't get another case with an inlay like this. But I'll definitely get another Carved case. I'm a loyal customer despite my turtle's "wardrobe malfunction".

I have been eyeing this case for a very long time, but waiting patiently for the right time to get a new phone + new case. The time finally came, and here I am! Loving it dearly. Beautifully handcrafted, looks incredible. It fills me with joy every time I see the case. :)

It is difficult to select which case I like best. As I change phones, I protect them with Carved cases. All beautiful and functional.
This is my second case for my Note 8, just because I could not resist the inlay.

We have purchased several cases from you and are very satisfied. Last one just like this only lasted a little ove a year though. I is for a 13 year old who was admittedly bending it on and off a lot. The turtle shell was falling off and the case surround was separating form the wood. He assured me he would not bend the new one.

Beautiful phone case!

I got my case and put it on my phone and literally an hour later the corners were all fractured. Luckily it hasn’t broken yet but I hadn’t even dropped it. They just cracked for no reason

The quality of this case is much better then what I expected. Coming from another wud brand where the tpu or plastic in their case, was horrible.

This case is so pretty! I love the mix of wood and shell inlay. The bumper case has a small lip around the front of the phone and the camera to protect them. Definitely recommend!

Great finish with great texture on the sides for grip without being too rough. The inlay for the shell is perfect and my wife absolutely lives it!

I have been disappointed with the last three or four cell phone cases I ordered. I should have stuck with Carved. They always do good work. This case looks a little better than I expected. I worry that the shells will fall off, so I'm being very careful. I believe Tyler made this case and I send my compliments to him. My understanding is that these cases are very difficult to create. I went hiking yesterday, and from the reviews, I gathered that this case is a good protector. It's just too gorgeous to test it's durability, tho'. (My daughter and I went diving with sea turtles in St. John, just before the tragic hurricanes. So this is an emotional and fond memory.) But my provider called this am and offered a couple of hundred dollars for accessories, in lieu of previous problems with my phone. I thought, I may get a military-grade case (or Otterbox) just for the hiking use. I am not hard on my phone, and I am so happy for this purchase...my husband is a bit jealous, so I need to order another for him. Thank you CARVED!

Sleek and superbly made artwork on my phone. I love the touch of class and elegance it adds to an otherwise mundane object.

I loved how it came out and the care it was made with. I like that it’s a smaller caring company right now with a signature in the box saying thank you for buying. I haven’t had it for a while so I don’t know how it will weather but out of the box it looks so great so no matter what I’m going to take care of it. It looks so good and very happy with it.

A high quality wood case with unique turtle inlay that definitely catches the eye and has everyone asking where I got it. Case fits snuggly around my iPhone 8 and looks great. No negative feedback I can identify.

So the case arrived and it fits great. Rubber sides feel strong and it's easy to use the buttons. The problem is that the rich, purple hue of the wood that is pictured on the website does not reflect the actual color of the wood on the product. The product I received is faded, a little blotchy, and honestly looks like the color started to bleed out. While I'm still very pleased with the overall quality of the case and will buy others in the future, buyer please be aware that the color is not as rich as pictured.

Beautiful, well designed case. The only thing I would change is the black exterior...not because it's not functional, but because I'm personally not a fan of Black cases and wish there were more color options to choose from. The turtle is gorgeous! Let me know if you start designing without the black exterior and I would definitely order another one!! Thanks for doing such a great job Carved!

I was very hesitant to by this case due to the negative reviews regarding the shells falling off rendering the case sticky and essentially ugly/broken looking. I decided to go ahead and purchase the case anyways and am SO GLAD I did. The case is absolutely beautiful. Every detail and color is even better than I had hoped and after owning this case for over 6 months, it is still in perfect condition with no indication of pieces falling off anytime soon. I also love the grip on the case. I have almost dropped my phone a dozen times but managed to grip it and avoid what could have been a very painful attack by the cement. Overall I could not be more pleased and would recommend this case.

Looks nice, but after about 2 months the adhesive used on the mother of pearl shell is wearing off causing the shells to fall off.

This is my 3rd case purchased from Carved. I've also backed their wood wallet on kickstarter. These cases are not just beautiful works of art, they are also functional in that they protect your phone. I have dropped each phone I've owned with a carved case multiple times and NEVER had an issue. The customer service team is great as well. I mistakenly chose the wrong shipping option and they refunded the money immediately. Made in the US, great quality, great design, great people, what else could you ask for?

I really do love my case. Everyone comments how absolutely beautiful it is. Why the bad rating? I spent far more on this case than I usually would and turtles are my favorite. The problem...the little shells inlayed to create the turtle's shell...keep falling off. I have lost two of the little mother of pearl colored shells completely and the three largest swirled shells in the middle are loose. The pieces are held in place by some sort of glue, but it isn't sturdy enough. Like some people, when i hold the phone, I place one finger on the center back. Apparently, the heat from my finger heats the glue and the shells release and fall off. I'm really sad that for the money, it isn't constructed better.

Sooooo nice! I loved the design, and the case looks even better in person! It also is extremely protective; I have dropped my phone numerous times and there is no damage at all! Carved stayed in contact with me throughout the process and I always knew where my case was. It was shipped in a timely fashion, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves wood/wood cases!

The only thing I find not quite right is that with the phone covers you cannot get glass covers to fit with it to protect your screen on your phone. Otherwise fantastic craftsmanship. I love it!

This is my N-th case. I enjoyed every single one of them. I buy so many due to phone changes or, more often, I like a new case.
My telephones had been very happy with the protection and with the gorgeous designs... And so have I.

I bought this for my sister, who's an avid diver. She absolutely loves it!

Honestly I was rather disappointed with this case. The wood of the turtle hardly stands out from the rest of the wood case and all you see is the turtle's shell, which looks kinda silly just by itself. Also the charging cable can't be plugged into the phone at all without taking the case off. These things together render the case rather useless. I bought it from overseas quite a long time ago; it took a long time to get to me and was so disappointed I didn't bother to say anything.
